At a recent terminal toolbox meeting, NP’s Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) Officer, Saffea T. Gbamanga, emphasized the significance of the initiative. “Our drivers are the backbone of our operations and their safety and comfort remain our top priority. These uniforms are not just about appearance; they are a crucial step in ensuring that our drivers remain visible and protected under all conditions. This initiative is part of our broader strategy to create a more secure and supportive work environment.”

NP’s drivers have warmly welcomed the new uniforms, recognizing both their practical and symbolic importance. One driver expressed appreciation, stating, “This uniform is a game-changer. It’s comfortable, practical and instills a sense of pride in representing NP. It’s evident that the company values our contributions and is committed to our welfare.”

Another driver highlighted the safety enhancements, remarking, “The high-visibility features are a great addition, particularly for long-haul journeys in dimly lit areas. Knowing that NP is actively investing in our safety gives us greater confidence on the road.”
